Resettlement and Placement Program
Initial case management and cash assistance support for
refugee families for the first 90 days upon arrival in the
US. Case managers support clients in the provision of
safe housing and home supplies, work authorization and
social security documents, school enrollment, medical
screenings, medical insurance, and referral to additional
cash assistance, English language training, and
employment services

Matching Grant Program
Provides case management and employment
services including a tailored service plan to ORR
eligible populations working to reach economic
self-sufficiency.

Services for Cuban and Haitian Entrants
Services include connections to community
partners and resources

Refugee Support Services (RSS)
Supports ORR eligible populations to gaining
sustainable employment in order to reach
economic self-sufficiency through case
management and a tailored service plan
Finances
CWS Grand Rapids operates under the governance of CWS Global’s Board of Directors and our finances are included in the CWS Global annual audit.
Church World Service is tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to Church World Service are tax deductible. The CWS financial records are audited by independent auditors in accordance with guidelines established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
